Работа для россиян в островном государстве

Маврикий — уникальное место для отдыха. Но и поработать здесь тоже можно. Уровень жизни в республике достаточно высок, а это значит, что проживать иностранцам на острове безопасно.

Страна отличается низким уровнем преступности, да и различные заболевания, так характерные для субтропических государств, здесь не так распространены.

Для поездки на Маврикий необходимо оформить визу.

Вакансии на Маврикии предлагаются и молодым специалистам, и более старшему поколению, и даже пенсионерам. Но не все рабочие места доступны иностранцам, в том числе, и россиянам. Обычно приезжие трудоустраиваются в туристическую отрасль, сферу образования и банковские учреждения: большинство местных жителей не могут претендовать на подобную работу, так как у них нет соответствующего образования. На Маврикии требуются медики. Им можно трудоустроиться в государственные лечебные учреждения. И частные клиники принимают иностранных специалистов на работу. Но соискатель на свободное место должен знать английский язык, в крайнем случае, французский. Владеть им надо хотя бы на разговорном уровне.

Это касается не только сотрудников медучреждений. Все местные компании соглашаются принять на работу специалистов, знающих 1 из этих языков. А вот тот иностранец, который желает поработать на Маврикии, но не владеет английским или французским, вряд ли найдет нормальную работу. Трудоустроиться, конечно, можно. Но это скорее всего будет работа на плантациях с сельскохозяйственными культурами или тяжелом производстве. Зарплата на Маврикии в таких местах низкая, условия работы выдержать может далеко не каждый.

Налоги на Маврикии

Жители республики оплачивают подоходный налог, минимальная ставка которого равна 10 %, а максимальная — 30 %.

Иностранный гражданин признается резидентом, если проводит на территории страны от 183 дней в течение года.

Резиденты уплачивают налог со своего общего дохода, а нерезиденты — только с местного, т. е. от работы на острове.

Собираясь на работу в это островное государство, лучше всего предварительно заняться изучением иностранного языка, чтобы не пришлось заниматься тяжелым физическим трудом.
